E2Tech was founded in 2002 with the purpose of connecting professionals and businesses in Maine’s environmental engineering and renewable energy sectors. The organization has grown to a membership of more than 175 companies, non-profits, educational institutions, government agencies, and other organizations. E2Tech’s monthly forums are the premier venues for information sharing, educational programs, and networking. On September 20, 2012 we will celebrate our history and accomplishments with a dinner and special program at the Mariner’s Church Banquet Center in Portland’s Old Port. Attendees will have the opportunity to re-connect with colleagues, meet new potential business partners and enjoy a great meal. E2Tech will present three organizations who best embody the mission and vision of E2Tech with the first-ever “E2 Can Do!” awards. Our guest speaker, Grant Ferrier, is the President of Environmental Business International, Inc. (EBI) and a nationally-recognized expert on the $300 billion US environmental industry, the $26 billion environmental consulting and engineering market, and the emerging $600 billion climate change industry. Mr. Ferrier will provide his perspective on the future of the environmental and energy sectors and a candid assessment of market statistics, business trends, and the hottest client sectors in this market.
