Come join E2Tech and NECEC with the UMaine Portland Gateway at the Maine Center for an evening of food, drink, celebration and opportunity!

Learn how the CleanTech Open accelerator program can help you develop your venture and how to apply to participate. Since 2005, more than 70% of Cleantech Open's reporting alumni companies nationwide are still active and have collectively raised over $2B in external funding.

We welcome entrepreneurs, students, investors, savvy technologists, and those interested in joining our growing cleantech community in Maine. E2Tech has been a partner in this initiative since 2013, and participation fees for Mainers in CleanTech Open Northeast can be covered by Maine Technology Institute!

EVENT AGENDA:

  •  About Cleantech Open Northeast - meet the team and learn about opportunities to be involved.
  • Also brief comments from Eric Howard, E2Tech's Executive Director and Susan Morris, honorary consul of Canada in Maine.
  • Alumni Lightning Talks - hear from Cleantech Open Northeast alumni about their experiences in the program.
  • Entrepreneur Introductions - certain firms will present their clean technology & business. To participate in this part of the program, please sign up when you register!
  • Q&A - ask your questions about the program, application process, and more.
  • Networking - meet people in the local ecosystem who are interested in and support Maine cleantech entrepreneurs in a wide variety of ways.

For background, see the Cleantech Open Northeast 2023 Impact Report or watch this four-minute video. Both from Maine, Amply Energy was the 2023 Northeast Regional Winner, and Shred Electric was a 2023 Northeast Regional Finalist.
