Join us online for an update on efforts to make Maine an international leader in heat pumps as a solution to decarbonization while also yielding cost savings for Mainers in all income categories.

Our speaker is Michael Stoddard, the Executive Director of the Efficiency Maine Trust, a $100 million/yr quasi-state agency that provides subsidies and finances initiatives statewide. Maine is seeing significant success in fostering a robust marketplace of vendors and knowledgeable, satisfied customer, and changes are afoot. (1) Shifting to "whole-home" or "whole-building" applications (such as USMs new dormitory, k-12 schools, mobile homes, etc), (2) Recent major changes in financing (such as federal tax & Efficiency Maine incentives). (3) Cutting edge technology/applications (such as high performance of HPs in extreme cold regions; phase change material for storage, and retrofitting hydronic heating systems).

This is a public event, so invitations can be forwarded to others. The Zoom link is available as the "location" to the left.
