Join us at the Governor Hill Mansion in Augusta for an informative conversation on the Pine Tree Power Referendum. The Forum itself will kick off at 8AM, but feel free to arrive at 7:15 or 7:30 for networking, coffee & tea, and a light breakfast.

This forum will discuss the issues and relevant facts raised by the 3rd item on the November ballot, an Act to create the Pine Tree Power Company, a Nonprofit, Customer-owned Utility.

This initiative would allow for the Pine Tree Power Company to purchase and acquire all investor-owned electric utilities in Maine. It would also establish the Pine Tree Power Board, which would consist of 13 members.

Our goal is for an educational forum for voters and others as they consider the item in November. The Speakers will both present and respond to questions from the Moderator and Audience members.

We welcome more sponsors for this event; please email info@e2tech.org if interested. They will be featured at the beginning.

Speakers:

Jim Cohen, Verrill Law & Maine Affordable Energy Coalition

Lucy Hochschartner, Deputy Campaign Manager, For Our Power

Former State Reps. Seth Berry and Tina Riley

Moderator:

Jeff Thaler, Of Counsel, Preti Flaherty
