ReMaine is a workforce development program funded by the Maine Governor’s Energy Office, in which NEEP, The JPI Group, IntWork, E2Tech, and others are partnering with Maine employers to place interns in paid, short-term jobs. This program seeks to create an entry point into the clean energy industry in Maine, with a particular focus on placing women and BIPOC participants. The program will subsidize interns’ wages 50% up to $22/hour for 240 hour placements. The program is in the final stages of placing people for this summer, to work until as late as September 30th.See this flyer for more details.

If you are interested in the program and the possibility of hosting an intern, please register here for our final “Lunch and Learn” meeting on Thursday July 6th at 12:00pm. We will provide an overview of the program, answer questions, and share a form for those interested in a follow-up, one-on-one meeting about participating. This is the last chance to take advantage of the program, if you can’t make that time just reach out to remaine@neep.org to set up another time
