"E2Tech Connects" events are Member-led online talks, meant to stimulate discussion and networking and provide timely policy updates


Spencer Thibodeau, the Northeast Regional Specialist for the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs at the United States Department of Energy, will present on the Department of Energy’s outreach efforts to state and local governments, advocacy organizations, business and labor. Spencer will also touch upon the Department’s Regional Specialist program, which comes at a time of the Biden Administration’s historic investment in the Department. 

Spencer is an attorney and public servant, formerly practicing law in the real estate practice group of the Portland, Maine based law firm of Verrill Dana, LLP for eight years. In addition to his legal practice, Spencer served as a Portland, Maine City Councilor for nearly six years, where he chaired the Housing And Economic Development Committee (2021) and Sustainability and Transportation Committee (2017-2020).
