The Federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and Inflation Reduction Act led to $10.5 M for four climate projects in York, Cumberland, and Washington county. The funding will protect fish and wildlife habitat & support climate resilience projects. To date, over $2.2 billion from the BIL has been awarded to 300+ specific projects in Maine. To view an interactive map of projects visit https://www.maine.gov/bil/home
