The Maine Climate Council released its third annual report on Dec 1st regarding the Maine Won't Wait plan. The 39 member Council released this progress report and updated online dashboard during its regular meeting in Augusta.

The Maine Public Utilities Commission announced new standard offer supply rates for electricity customers of CMP and Versant. Starting in January, customers can expect average savings of $18-32 on their electric bill.

The Southwest Harbor Water and Sewer District has been awarded $4.25M of federal grant funding and a $5M loan to help with increased cost of equipment and materials for necessary upgrades.
