Waterstone welcomes E2Tech for a tour on September 16th beginning at 4:30pm that will be followed by food, drinks and a presentation on the company's vision for the district. This will be an exclusive chance to see some of the exciting things planned for Maine’s largest commercial development and future innovation district. The outdoor event space will include food trucks and a tent area.
Rock Row in Westbrook is a $600+ million project in Greater Portland that will be the future home to Maine’s first commercial cross-laminated timber tower, the state’s largest conference/event center, a 26-acre recreational quarry, and 300,000+ sq ft of world class restaurant and retail shopping. As an innovation district, Rock Row will also represent a center of gravity for innovators by adding key infrastructure and open community spaces with programming that will welcome collaboration and experimentation.
Attendees will learn:
- Reasoning behind designers selection of mass timber construction for the project, and possible sourcing of that material
- Ties to Maine's innovation community that may be developed as part of the project's new biotech incubator, and Waterstone's heritage in this sector
- Perspectives on some of the green building practices and initiatives being explored for the project
Register today for this rare opportunity for a behind-the-scenes look at one of the largest economic developments in Maine history, followed by networking with other E2Tech members and guests.
This event is sponsored by Perkins Thompson.
