Climate Big Picture: Comparing Policies and Technologies using MIT's EN-ROADS Simulator

A broad range of climate mitigation approaches have been proposed. How do they work together? How should they be prioritized? What is the big picture? In this participatory webinar we will introduce En-ROADS, which is an online climate simulator developed by MIT, to analyze and compare various policies and technologies and evaluate how they work together as a system. Using En-ROADS, we will explore existing and proposed national and international climate policies and we will review how to En-ROADS can be applied to energy and environmental policies in Maine.

Speakers:

Peter Dugas -- EN-ROADS Climate Ambassador, Co-Chair Citizens' Climate Lobby- Portland

Don Parent, P.E. -- Principal, Parent Technology Group

David Vail -- Emeritus Professor of Economics, Bowdoin College
