Join E2Tech and Wicked Joe for specialty coffee drinks & cocktails, delicious beer from Funky Bow, light snacks from Wild Oats, roasting demonstrations, live music, networking, and tours of Wicked Joe’s new roasting warehouse! All happening this Friday, June 12th, from 3:30-5:30pm.


The Wicked Joe 25,000 square-foot facility is decked out with:

  • A 3.57-kilowatt grid-connected photovoltaic system (see picture below of the Solar Wall)
  • Automated LED lighting
  • An electric car charging station
  • Heat pump water heaters that harvest energy from indoor air to provide hot water and cool the air around the water heaters,
  • Loring SmartRoast roasters that use 80 percent less energy than traditional roasters





Even better, start your day at Envision Maine’s Economy and Climate Change event at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, with high-level speakers – Senator Angus King (via video), Dan Reicher, (Stanford, Google, DOE) – and dozens of partners and speakers before joining us at Wicked Joe a couple of miles away in Topsham.
