Climate & AI Incubator

The Roux Institute and the Environmental and Energy Technology Council of Maine (E2Tech) share many common goals. As part of our respective missions to catalyze and grow the clean energy sector in Maine, we have agreed to collaborate on the creation of the state’s first Climate & AI incubator, located on the Roux Institute’s state-of-the-art campus in Portland, Maine.

The Roux is the lead, and the incubator will support startups that are harnessing the power of AI, data science and other related technologies to help solve Maine’s and the world’s most pressing climate challenges. The Climate & AI incubator will provide space for up to 20 CE/EE/AI startups to co-locate at the Roux Institute and has secured initial funding from the Maine Governor’s Energy Office.
