About Us
The Environmental & Energy Technology Council of Maine is an association of companies, entrepreneurs, state agencies and organizations committed to advancing sustainable job growth, research and development, and new product commercialization.
The E2 Tech Council was created in 2002 through a merger of the Environmental Business Council of Maine (EBCM) and the Maine Environment & Energy Center (Maine E2 Center). Initial support for the organization was provided through a two-year Cluster Enhancement Grant provided by the Maine Technology Institute (MTI), with additional support from the Maine State Chamber of Commerce and by approximately one dozen other companies, organizations and agencies.
